The Hatch-Bradley Brook Lakes Association does not own any property or any water on Hatch Lake or Bradley Brook Reservoir. The HBBLA is not in charge of the water on the lakes. The lakes have no public access but are not private lakes. Anyone can fish here. Anyone can access the water from places where there is no private property and people do not own the blue line. All the water in both lakes belongs to New York State.
Hatch Lake and Bradley Brook Reservoir are located in Central New York, in Madison County, in the Town of Eaton, between Syracuse and Utica, just south of the Route 20 corridor and just off Route 26. Hatch Lake's surface area is 133 acres and Bradley Brook Reservoir's surface area is 137 acres. Click on the links to get a map of each lake.
Hatch and Bradley Brook Lakes Association is a group of property owners on the two lakes near Eaton/West Eaton, New York. We are proud of our lakes and want to maintain and improve our lakes for the residents that live here. Although there is no public access to our lakes, we do have great boating and fishing. We have a Board of Directors that governs the Hatch-Bradley Brook Lakes Association, where membership is encouraged, however, optional. Their names are located within the directory.
Hatch Lake is a kettle lake that is spring fed. You can walk all the way around Hatch Lake but not drive around. It is about 2.5 miles around Hatch Lake. Bradley Brook is a reservoir receiving water via a spillway. You can walk all the way around Bradley Brook but not drive around. It is about 2.8 miles around Bradley Brook Reservoir.
